Sukesh Chandrasekhar, a man who has spent time in prison for fraud charges among others, who has been in the headlines time and again with the letters he has written to several of the biggest personalities, is once again making news with the fact that he has penned a letter to American business man Elon Musk. Sukesh, currently in police custody at Delhi’s Mandoli jail, has committed to invest a total of $2 billion in social media site X, according to a report from India.
“I use this privilege and distinction, to announce today, that I am ready and I am prepared to invest ‘USD 1 billion’ and another ‘USD 1 billion’ in the company. The investment of the amount in question is independent of any value of X, but it is an investment on what destiny the company has for it under your leadership, so the stakes are always with you, and trust me, the ‘X’ value is going to reach unprecedented heights,” he said.
“Elon, I am sure you will be with me on this, actually for me now, success is very boring, it is very ordinary, but failure, it is a mystery, to make a winner out of the ashes of defeat, is something, it gives you the best high, it is the most interesting thing for me,” the letter said, reported India Today. “As you are well aware, I am currently in judicial custody, as an undertrial for an alleged financial crime, which would amount to less than the amount of my annual shopping allowance. But in both cases, the charges have never been brought against me, I have never been convicted, all are unsubstantiated allegations and in the absence of any tangible evidence,” he said.
“This will also serve as an example to all the lovely youth of my great nation, to have big dreams, and not forget that no dream is too big to be able to achieve, and no one can hinder you, no matter what,” the letter said. This is not the first letter that Sukesh has written to a celebrity figure. He has previously written to Bollywood’s Jacqueline Fernandez, previous Chief Minister Delhi Arvind Kejriwal and Chandrababu Naidu who was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He particularly wanted her as he had written dozens of love letters on his behalf and one of them ended on a massive note and read, “Our love story is no less than Ramayana.”
