Evolution Of 5G Cellular Network Technology

A world that was previously thought to be possible only in science fiction is now becoming a reality. A world where different types of doctors can operate on different types of patients thousands of miles apart.  A world where a variety of students can experience ancient cities and far-flung ceremonies as if they were there. The whole world is completely filled with self-driving cars. A world where all forms and every step of the supply chain are automated. A world where a handful of employees across a variety of functions and industries handle the entire manufacturing process under the supervision of robots. A world of fully autonomous farms, where a farmer can manage the entire farm and a variety of tasks from seed to harvesting from his smartphone.

Development of 5G cellular network technology

This world will be made possible by the development, implementation, and adoption of 5G cellular networks throughout the world. 5G cellular network technology will impact the entire world in almost infinite ways across a variety of sectors. The development of 5G cellular network technology around the world will change all kinds of business models, change many ways people work, change many ways patients receive healthcare, change many ways people receive food, the way of driving will change. In this detailed article I examine the development, applications, benefits and socioe conomic impacts of 5G cellular network technology, as well as the current limitations facing the industry and ways to address them.

What is 5G cellular network technology

5G cellular network  technology is the fifth generation of cellular network technology. 5G cellular network technology is the successor to fourth generation (4G) networks. 5G cellular network technology is characterized by ultra-low latency, massive data rates, extremely high density of connections, almost perfect reliability, and wide coverage areas. 5G cellular network technology is not just another ‘G’, it has the potential to completely change the way we work and live. Some experts from different countries in the world say that the development and implementation of 5G enabled technologies could be as revolutionary as Gutenberg’s printing press (Campbell, Diffley, Flanagan, Morelli, O’Neill, Sideko, 2017).

Development of cellular network technology

Each evolution of cellular network  technology is usually due to advancements in technology, infrastructure, organization/strategies, availability, etc. Advancements in all of these types of cellular network technology improve bandwidth, latency, reliability, coverage, and connection density. The network of all generations of cellular network technology is not just the little number you see in the corner of all types of your mobile phones. They represent massive improvements in technical infrastructure and capacity.

1G, 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G represent five generations of cellular network technology where the word ‘G’ stands for generation and the counting numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) represent the generation number of the cellular network technology.

In whole world  the cellular network technology was first  launched in Japan in 1979 by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone in the metropolitan, Tokyo area.

At present the popular and most important examples of cellular network technology in all over the world are CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access), GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), and 3 GSM.

Cellular network technology has a wide variety of applications. Cellular network technology is used to carry voice traffic, SMS, video, photos, files and for a wide variety of purposes. Cellular network applications are most commonly used to convert communications to IP (data based before transmission).

Development of 7G or 8G cellular network technology

At present, a country named Norway is increasing its cellular network technology day by day in the whole world. Currently, 7G and 8G cellular network internet speeds are only available in Norway. Norway is a more developed country than other countries in the whole world because this country uses 7G or 8G network technology while the rest of the world uses only 5G cellular network technology. Norway’s top and most popular telecommunication service provider company ‘Telenor’ is increasing personal internet speed day by day. Norway is also called the last country in the world. Norway is the country where the world ends.

‘Martin Cooper’, born December 26, 1928 in Chicago Illinois, United States, was an American engineer who, between 1972 and 1973, led the team that created the first mobile cell phone and made the first cell phone call . Because of this work he is known worldwide as the father of cellular network technology. The world’s first cellular network technology was launched in 1979 by Nippon Telegraph & Telephone (NTT) in Japan. Sometime in 1983, the first commercially available handheld mobile phone was the DynaTAC 8000X. Over a period of several years from 1983 to 2014, worldwide mobile phone subscriptions exceeded 7 million, enough to provide every person on Earth with a mobile phone.

First Cellular Network In India

The first cellular  networks in India is “Modi Telstra” Mobile Net. In 1995, on 13 July, India’s first cellular network service was launched. “Modi Telstra” was also known as the popular and first commercial mobile service provider in India.

The first technology in the whole world was created by a person named ‘Thomas Edison’. This person created the world’s first industrial research laboratory. Due to this work ‘Thomas Edison’ is called the father of technology.

The first technology developed by man in ancient times was in the form of ‘stone tools’. In ancient times, man used various techniques of technology to make axes, arrowheads, hammers, knives and many other things.

The technologies used in cellular networks are FDMA, CDMA and TDMA.

Cellular communications are made possible mostly by radio frequency (RF) transmissions.

At present the latest cellular network technology in most countries of the world is 5G network. But the latest cellular network in Norway country is 7G or 8G. Norway is a country more developed in cellular network technology than other countries in the world.

Georges Émile Palade is known as the father of cell technology. Qualcomm plays an important and significant role in the invention of 5G cellular network technology. Science is the most popular and is considered the mother of technology. Cell technology was first discovered by the British scientist ‘Robert Hook’ in the year 1665.

Launching of 5G Cellular Network Technology in India

5G cellular network  technology in India was first launched by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1 October 2022. Currently, there are two telecom operator companies in India that offer 5G cellular network technology, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio.
