After sometime the name the Gurukuls (ashramas) are also known from the name of sages. The Gurukuls (ashramas) are situated in outside of village and cities such as in forests, in serene, and in peaceful surroundings. Hundreds of students used to learn together in Gurukuls (ashramas). At this time Women’s are also used learning. Women’s started their education from the vedic time period. The prominent women vedic scholars suchas, Apala, Gargi, Lopamudra, and Vishambhara.
During this time period the Gurus (teachers) and their shishyas (students) live together and helping each other in various types of work. During this time period the shiyas (students) lived far from their homes for years together to fulfil and achieved their goals. The shishyas (Students) prsuing their education in various types of disciplines such as history, law, medicine, and art of debate.
